Dog-Eared welcomes submissions from children's writers over the age of 18. All work must be family-friendly and written for children between ages birth to 12.
Short Stories: Adventure, Fantasy, Multi-Cultural, Modern, Animal etc. 1,500 words or less (depends on age level)
Poetry: Rhyming on Non-Rhyming, 20 lines or less

Include manuscript as a .doc attachment and a short bio.
Please do not send illustrations.
We do not hold any rights to your work. You are free to submit it elsewhere after we publish it on the blog.
